It appears that Foxconn/Apple are at the beginning of a groundswell against their labor practices in China. Yes there is tedious work and long hours and this is definitely a problem, but why isn’t the focus on Chinese manufacturing processes as a whole? These conditions aren’t only unique to Foxconn. Perhaps we should be looking at the whole system rather than one component.
